PayPal sues Google over Google Wallet

eBay's payment arm has sued for theft of trade secrets and breach of contract, the same day Google introduced its mobile payment system.PayPal on Thursday sued Google and two ex-employees claiming that its trade secrets had been stolen and contracts had been broken. The two former employees are Stephanie Tilenius and Osama Bedier.
Tilenius was hired by Google toward the end of June 2010, when she became Google VP of commerce and payments. She left PayPal in October 2009 and PayPal claims she was bound by contract not to solicit PayPal employees until March 2011.PayPal further alleged that in July 2010,Tilenius contacted Osama Bedier, then at PayPal, and tried to convince him to join Google. Bedier, after several months of wooing, which included meetings with top Google executives, opted to remain with PayPal in December 2010. But Tilenius apparently persisted and managed to convince him to resign from PayPal in January and join PayPal.

I believe this is the beginning of another Samsung vs Apple drama.

Having problem using Skype?Solve it now.

Skype gives fix for first crash after Microsoft acquisition. With some users unable to sign into Skype and make voice calls, the soon-to-be-acquired-by-Microsoft company offered users a multi-step fix to get its service running again.
Although Skype is not yet technically part of Microsoft, which is spending US$8.5 billion in a deal pending regulatory approval, the outage fueled more criticism of the acquisition.
For Windows, it goes like this: 1. Click Start, type run and press Enter. (On Windows XP: Click Start and then Run.) 2. Type the following and click OK: %appdata%\skype 3. Locate and delete the file shared.xml. 4. If you cannot find this file: 1. Click Start, type run and press Enter. (On Windows XP: Click Start and then Run.)Type the 2. following and click OK: control folders 3. In the View tab, ensure that Show hidden files and folders is enabled. 4. Repeat steps 1-3. Restart Skype. The Mac fix is easier: "Open Finder and locate the following folder: ~/Library/Application Support/Skype. Delete the file shared.xml. Restart Skype." The Linux fix is almost identical, perhaps not surprising given that Apple's Mac operating system is based on Unix. Skype's Twitter feed said an "easier solution [is] coming soon!"  Although Skype's fix instructions indicate there is clearly some trouble with the service, Skype's main status page claimed sign in and registration are "all working normally."
All the best.

I'm very excited about HTML5-Philippe Le Hégaret

Philippe Le Hégaret, the W3C manager responsible for HTML5, CSS (Cascading Style Sheets), SVG (Scalable Vector Graphics, WOFF (Web Open Font Format) and other user interaction technologies, said he's excited about HTML5.
HTML5 upgrades HTML to accommodate modern Web applications, covering multimedia capabilities.
Thumbs up to W3C!!!

Samsung vs Apple : The battle continues

Samsung on Friday May 27 asked a federal judge to make Apple show them samples of its next-generation iPhone and iPad.This is a continuation of the ongoing battle between the two electronic giants over iPad, iPod and iPhone.
Just recently,Apple sued Samsung for copying their technologies, designs and even packaging with its Google Android-based products. As a result of this, the Judge in charge of the case - Judge Koh ordered Samsung to show several of its newest smartphones and tablets.
Only God knows what the outcome of this is going to be.
