Oracle have now released an update of the standard edition of the Java and JavaFX rich client application platform. Java has been a problem on Mac systems lately with the Flashback botnet serving as a Java-based attack against Macs.
Hasan Rizvi, senior vice president of Oracle Fusion Middleware and Java Products at Oracle said and i quote:
"With the upcoming Mac OS X port, we look forward to delivering simultaneous releases of the JRE across all major operating systems later this year, so all Java users will be able to take advantage of the latest features and security fixes."

Big ups to Oracle!
